Brandon Alvey is a Los Angeles-based producer, filmmaker and writer.  His recent work includes L.A. MUSE, a documentary series featuring prominent artists from the Los Angeles area discussing the many sources of inspiration they find throughout the city.

Brandon has produced and directed a variety of promotional spots which have aired on NBC, CBS, IFC, PBS, Ovation, Univisión, Yahoo! Movies and Virgin Airlines.  He has also produced branded video content for clients including Microsoft, Skype, LensCrafters, Piaget and Miramax.  His live event videos have been featured on the front pages of leading industry sites including Variety, IndieWire, Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter.  He has also produced several segments for DVD/Blu-ray releases for Sony Pictures Classics and Fox Searchlight.

Originally from the Midwest, Brandon studied film and media production at Indiana University.  He then moved to Los Angeles and dove head first into anything remotely related to the making of independent film and television projects.  For several years, Alvey was Head of Video Production for Film Independent, the non-profit arts organization that produces the Los Angeles Film Festival and the Independent Spirit Awards.  In this role, he had the opportunity to interview many of his filmmaking and comedy heroes.

Since then, he has worked on various documentary, comedy and branded content projects.  Between bouts of work on a feature-length documentary and various comedy scripts, Brandon tends to be procrastinating writing said scripts, or chasing his 4-year-old daughter around on her scooter.
